Moomoo.io build table. All buildings description and upgrades

Staying alive in MooMoo.io is not only about fighting, but also about building a secure base. This guide will teach you how to craft traps, build walls and other structures that will help you in the long run.

Moomoo.io Blocker

Blocker

The Blocker is a Structure in MooMoo.io. It can be used to disable building by other players, which is useful in base raid situations.

Technical

Blocker in-game

  • It is unlocked on Age 7.
  • Blocks building in a range of 300px, or 5 Grid Spaces.
  • It has 400 Health.
  • Costs 30 and 25.

Strategy

Using

  • This can be very effective with Turrets. (Put them down first and then place the Blocker.) People can't put anything to protect themselves from the Cannonballs.
  • Use this with the Hunting Bow, or another Ranged Weapon, as others can't place down Structures to defend themselves.
  • When you are trapped in a Pit Trap, you can place a Blocker so other Players can't insta-kill you with Spikes or use the "Circle of Death" strategy.
  • Be aware that the Blocker's health is lower than that of the Pit Trap, Greater Spikes and the Greater Spike's upgrades. In a high-tier fight, you may have to quickly keep replacing your Blocker to prevent your opponent from overwhelming you with Pit Traps and Spikes.
  • You can boost up to an enemy using Boost Pads, while wearing Bull Helmet then placing Blocker to confuse them and quickly finish them off.

Against

  • As Structures are very important in combat, try to destroy the Blocker, which doesn't have a particularly high health.
    • Use this especially when they are stuck in a Pit Trap and they place it. It is weaker than most Structures.
    • Great Hammer and Katana can destroy these effectively. You can also use Tank Gear, although this slows down your movement considerably. You can place down a Blocker when there are already Structures in the vicinity.
Moomoo.io Boost Pad

Boost Pad

The Boost Pad is a Structure in MooMoo.io.

Technical

  • When a Player or Mob touches a Boost Pad, it is propelled in the direction the arrow on the Boost Pad is facing.
  • The speed at which the subject is propelled depends on how fast it was moving at the time of contact and, which direction it was moving.
  • The Limit on Boost Pad is 12.
  • Boost Pads cost 20 and 5.
  • The Boost Pad has 150 HP.
  • The Boost Pad is always placed with the arrow facing away from you.
  • It is unlocked at Age 4.

Strategy

Using

  • During PVP this Structure is very useful, as one can close the gap against kiting archers and fleeing enemies. However, especially in arenas, it can leave you at a disadvantage against those with pit traps, who can easily spike you after you boost into their trap.
  • It can also be used as a defense or fast exit method from a base.
  • One can also form 'highways' between bases, creating a fast transportation method between nearby bases, but beware of enemies putting Spikes. This is ideal for small outposts or personal bases.
  • Can also be used in deathtraps, to boost people to traps, etc. One of the most effective methods of River trolling.
  • In Sandbox, point this into a trap of 4 Mines that are half a player apart each. Victims cannot escape since the mines have infinite health but beware of people breaking the Boost Pads.
  • Boost Pad can be used to escape Pit Traps or to increase your velocity enough to boost through them.
  • You can also use this to chase players; be sure to break them or you will run out.
  • Great in sandbox mode.
  • In Sandbox Mode, you can use these to create nice roller coasters. If you want, you can put spikes at the end of it.
  • You can also easily bypass enemy walls by boosting between the gaps.
  • Quickly place Boost Pads and then place a Spike while hitting the opponent to quickly kill them.
  • When using the Boost Pad in combat consistently, be aware some skilled players can predict where you are going to place them, and put a spike in your path (can instantly kill you; very hard to survive if the spike is close enough to your Boost Pad).

Against

  • If you are being chased by someone using these to pursue you, you can place a spike down to counter.
  • Pit Traps are viable counters to these, as you can trap someone pursuing you.
  • Try to elude opponents using these by suddenly moving in another direction. Your opponent will zoom past you. This works especially well with Daggers.
  • Use the Repeater Crossbow against an opponent who is using Boost Pads to boost up to you. The Repeater Crossbow's fast attack speed may catch the opponent off guard, as they are focusing on placing Boost Pads and may not be ready to heal.
Moomoo.io Castle Wall

Castle Wall

The Castle Wall is the final upgrade of the Wall path. It is an upgrade from the Stone Wall and is the strongest Wall in the game. Its color scheme resembles the Stone Wall, but darker and in an octagonal shape.

Technical

  • The Castle Wall can be unlocked at Age 7 and is only available if you chose the Stone Wall at Age 3.
  • Castle Walls cost 35
  • The limit on Castle Walls is 30.
  • Castle Walls have 1500 health points.
  • Players and Mobs cannot move through Castle Walls, nor can Arrows or bullets.
  • Projectiles have no effect on Castle Walls.

Strategy

Using

  • Because the Castle Wall has so much HP but costs a ton, you should make sure you have the right tools, such as the Hand Axe, Great Axe or the Stick. Use Boost Pads to get into your base followed by a Spike to prevent enemies from going in.
  • Make sure to keep the gaps closed so no intruders can enter through your Castle Wall.
  • In Sandbox, use Mines instead.

Against

  • Take note that the selection of Castle Walls means the bypassing of useful items like Cookie and Turret. Use this to your advantage, for example, by engaging in long fights.
    • However, sometimes after building things, the Players kills himself/herself and respawns with those items.
  • As it is not effective to manually destroy a Castle Wall, try using a Boost Pad to get in.
    • If you must destroy a Castle Wall, Great Hammer is the best for the job. You can also use Tank Gear, but be aware that this will expose you to attacks, with its slow movement speed.
  • If you have two people, have one get Tank Gear and a Katana, then have the other use Wooden Shield right in front, blocking Turret and Arrows, while the other destroys it.
Moomoo.io Faster Windmill

Faster Windmill

The Faster Windmill is a Structure that creates Gold for the Player that builds them.

Technical

  • The Faster Windmill produces 1.5 Gold per second and gives you 1.5 XP. How it manages 1.5 Gold is generating one Gold, then two Gold per second, forever until it's destroyed. If 2 are placed it will be in a pattern of 3 consistently, not a 2/4/2/4 pattern, averaging it out.
  • The Faster Windmill costs 60 and 20.
  • A Player can only have up to 7 Faster Windmills at a time.
  • Faster Windmills are slightly smaller than the normal Windmills so you will need less space to place Faster Windmills.
  • The Faster Windmill upgrades from the Windmill at Age 5.

Strategy

  • As this is an upgraded version of the Windmill, use the same strategy.
Moomoo.io Greater Spikes

Greater Spikes

The Greater Spikes are a type of Spike in MooMoo.io.

Technical

  • The Greater Spikes are an upgrade from Spikes.
  • The Greater Spikes are obtainable at Age 5 as an alternative to the Faster Windmill, Mine, and Sapling.
  • Greater Spike does 35 damage per hit upon contact with a player other than you or your Tribe members.
  • Greater Spikes require 30 and 10 per unit to build.
  • A maximum of 15 Greater Spikes can be placed by one Player.

Strategy

Using

  • Use the Greater Spikes the same way you would use the Spikes.

Against

  • Use Soldier Helmet so it takes Greater Spikes 4 hits to kill you rather than 3.
Moomoo.io Healing Pad

Healing Pad

The Healing Pad is a Structure in MooMoo.io.

Technical

  • The Healing Pad can be acquired at Age 7 along with the Cheese, Turret, Platform, Castle Wall, Blocker, and Teleporter.
  • The Healing Pad heals you 15 HP per second upon standing on it.
  • Each Player can place a maximum of 4 Healing Pads.

Strategy

Using

  • Place Healing Pads in your base. This way, you can Heal without using Food, while in relative safety.
    • Keep them protected so your Healing source won't be broken by other Players.
    • Put them in a group of 4 so Players can easily stand on them and heal faster.
  • When building a base, place all 4 and then kill yourself. When you respawn, choose Platforms and place the maximum amount of them. Do the same with Turrets.
  • Equip Angel Wings and Medic Gear while standing on Healing Pads to heal at the fastest rate possible without eating Food.
  • These shouldn't be used in the middle of a heated battle, as the enemy will be able to kill you while you're healing. Instead, opt for some Food or something that heals you quickly, like the Bloodthirster or Blood Wings.
  • When in a ranged fight, place them and fight back with a Ranged Weapon of your own. You will have the benefit of constant healing.
  • Good against Poison, but if you're in a heated battle with a weapon like Katana, note that they will soon be destroyed, so don't depend on the Healing Pads forever.

Against

  • Destroy these for Food.
  • Although these heal, they don't heal very fast. Attack Healing Pad users with a high DPS Weapons like Daggers, Katana, or Repeater Crossbow to defeat them.
  • Use Bat to knock the Player off the Healing Pad, thus negating their advantage.
  • Use Bull Helmet to kill the Players before they heal.
Moomoo.io Mine

Mine

The Mine is a Structure used to mine Stone.

Technical

  • The Mine costs 100 and 20.
  • The player can only have 1 Stone Mine placed at a time.
  • The Mine can never be broken, but instead yields a set amount of stone per hit per Mine depending on the Weapon used.
    • It is usually one per hit.
  • The Mine will disappear automatically once the player who placed the mine leaves the game, as all structures do.
  • It is unlockable at age 5.

Strategy

Using

  • Try placing the Stone Mine somewhere that you can hit multiple Resources at once.
  • Since it is invincible, the mine can also be used as a barricade, or as the cornerstone of your Wall.
  • In the experimental servers, the Mine is very useful as a building structure and can serve as an unbreakable fort wall, blocking you from the outside and invaders from you. They can get in with Boost Pads, but if you place Spikes next the Mine, it will either kill them or have them get the Shame! hat.
  • You can use mines to make a Maze
  • A sneaky tactic in the experimental server is to join a team, build a cage of mines, then bring tribe members over and ask them to put something into the room that you didn't pick, then while they put that in, you place a Mine to block them from the exit.
  • You can place a Mine (if it fits) between a tree and bush. This makes it so, at the correct angle, you can get Food, Stone, and Wood in one swing!

Against

  • Once trapped in a well-built cage of Mines, it is hopeless to try to get out. The only thing you can do is wait for your captor to leave the game. If it isn't well built, however, you can sometimes use boost pads to boost your way out of there.
  • If an opponent placed a Mine in a good farming spot, you can mine there, even though they probably didn't mean for you to do so, but once they leave the game, try to find another spot.
  • If you get trapped in 4 mines in the formation of a square in sandbox mode, put on bull helmet and kill yourself so you can respawn.
Moomoo.io Pit Trap

Pit Trap

The Pit Trap is a Structure in MooMoo.io. It is used to trap Players and Mobs. It is unique in that it is invisible to all Players who are not in the Player’s clan. If it has been stepped in before, it will be visible to all Players.

Technical

  • A maximum of 6 can be built per Player.
  • It takes 30 Wood and 30 Stone to build.
  • When an enemy player walks into it, they will no longer be able to move until either the trap is destroyed or they are pushed out of the trap.
    • The trapped Player will still be able to rotate although trapped mobs cannot.
  • If a Mob becomes trapped, it will no longer be able to move, and Hostile Mob will no longer be able to harm Players.
    • Ducks, MOOSTAFA, and MOOFIE are the only Mobs that are immune to it.
    • Mobs can be affected by Spike knockback in a Pit Trap, but Players can't.
  • Pit Traps remain invisible to all Players except the Player who placed it and his teammates-until something becomes trapped in it.
  • Once a Pit Trap becomes visible to a Player, it will remain visible. This means that teammates of the Player who placed the trap will still be able to see the trap even if they leave the team or are kicked.
    • Pit Traps are also visible if an entity entered it before, which makes sense as a hole in real life would be obvious if someone stepped in it.
  • Pit Traps have 500 Health Points.
  • Pit Traps are available at Age 4, as an alternative to the Boost Pad.

Strategy

Using

  • When building a base, consider building the base to 'herd' any invaders into a certain spot where you have built Pit Traps.
  • Once an enemy becomes ensnared in your trap, try surrounding him with Spikes and placing Turrets. This technique is known as the Circle of Death.
  • If an invader gets stuck, do not move against them as they will be pushed out. Instead, try attacking from a distance using a long Ranged Weapon, like the Polearm or Katana.
    • Aim for the part of the Player that is not inside the trap so you do not accidentally destroy the trap and free him.
      • It is also possible to place a Spike in this area. Since the Player cannot move, there will be no knockback from the Spike and the Player will be pinned against the spike and killed instantly unless they're auto-healing.
  • Use traps to help defeat opponents who are stronger than you.
  • If you are building a base, never place down all 6 Pit Traps. Always keep at least 2 more Pit Traps with you to trap animals and other Players.
  • If using a farming build (Axe branch), use the Pit Trap to defend against Players with Katanas as they will be unable to approach you until broken out. While the Katana player attempts to break out, place Spikes in a circle (be VERY fast) to kill the enemy. Alternatively, just place 2 Turrets and use Bull Helmet to overpower the opponent (unless he/she spams Food too fast).
  • If you pretend to place the Pit Trap, many opponents will attempt to go around the nonexistent Pit Trap allowing you to escape.
  • If your opponent is trapped and he places a Pit Trap or Spike behind him, and if you use Katana or Polearm then hit the edge of your opponent. Try to not hit the Pit Trap, as you will be helping him escape.

Against

  • When trapped in an enemy's Pit Trap, place a building behind you as then the enemy would not be able to Spike you. This strategy works most of the time as the enemy can still place one to your side and push you into it, although if you are lucky you will get recoiled from the Spike and freed of the Pit Trap.
    • Wood wall is not a good thing to put down, as your opponent will easily destroy it; it has less health than a Pit Trap. A Windmill is more ideal.
      • Turrets work great, but then you lose one of your two Turrets, and they cost a lot of Resources.
  • If an enemy uses the circle of death, try to break the Spikes while breaking the trap with a Katana as it has a longer reach and can break Spikes with the Pit Trap, essentially making an escape route after you freed yourself.
    • If they place a Spike right when you destroy it and move forward, however, you will most likely be killed.
  • The Bat can be used to knock back the enemy so they won’t be able to deliver the killing blow with the Spike if you're stuck in a Pit Trap.
  • Place Blockers around you in a fight if you know the opponent is using Pit Traps.
    • Note that this will mean you can't put down Pit Traps of your own.
  • Against a Pit Trap user, place Pit Traps of your own and/or Spikes, so that if you walk into one you have a chance to be protected.
  • It is possible to avoid it in the first place. Just try to place an object where you think it is. You are correct if it doesn't allow to be placed. Since it is an object, you can't place an object on it.
Moomoo.io Platform

Platform

The Platform is a Pad obtainable at Age 7.

Technical

  • The Platform can be obtained at Age 7, as an alternative to the Turret, Castle Wall (if you got Stone Wall at age 3), and Healing Pad.
  • One Platform costs 20.
  • The limit of Platforms placed at one time is 12.
  • The Platform allows the Player to shoot over most Structures when stood on.
    • Despite giving the Player a height advantage great enough to shoot over Walls, it is apparently not tall enough to allow the Player to shoot over Trees, Food Bushes, Cacti, Turrets or Windmills, indicating that walls are shorter than said Structures.
  • Platforms can be placed on the River. When stood on, the Player does not go with the current of the River.
  • The Platform has 300 Health.
  • Even in the River, the Platform allows you to shoot over Structures..

Strategy

Using

  • Place these down at in your Base so you can shoot over Walls. Or, you can place them next to an Enemy Base so you can shoot into their Base if they are trying to hide in their Base.
  • Use it to your advantage when you are fighting a Hostile Mob, such as Bully, Bull, or Wolf. While they are trying to get you, stand on the other edge and use a Bow to shoot it or hit it with a Melee Weapon. If it tries to round it and get you on the other side, get to the opposite side and repeat until you have killed it.
  • To battle the River’s current without spending any Gold, place Platforma across the river and the current won't affect you as long as you are on the Platform.

Against

  • If you attack someone who is on a Platform with a Melee Weapon, you can knock them off, especially with a Bat, Polearm, or Barbarian Armor.
  • Turrets, Wooden Shield and Windmills can block Projectiles shot from atop a Platform.
Moomoo.io Poison Spikes

Poison Spikes

The Poison Spikes is an upgrade of the Greater Spikes available at Age 9. They are the only Structure in the game capable of poisoning Players, and Mobs.

Technical

  • The Poison Spikes deal 30 damage points on contact. They also inflict the Poison Effect, which takes away 5 health points every second for 5 seconds, making for a total of 25 additional Damage done over time. In short, it does 55 Damage.
    • The Poison effect does not stack, so a Player who is already poisoned cannot be poisoned again to have two Poison effects working on him.
    • Note that the Poison does not affect Players using the Anti Venom Gear, but initial contact with the Poison Spike will still deal 30 Damage.
  • Contact with the Poison Spikes will also result in a knockback effect on the player unless the Player is trapped in a Pit Trap.
  • Poison Spikes do not affect the Player who placed them or their team-mates, though they are still solid Structures and may not be walked through.
  • Poison Spikes cost 35 and 15.
  • The limit on Poison Spikes is 15, as is the same for Spikes, Greater Spikes, and Spinning Spikes.

Strategy

Using

  • Use Poison Spikes as you would use normal Spikes.
  • Poison Spikes deal more damage than Spinning Spikes over time, but only through Poison. Depending on your application, Spinning Spikes may sometimes be more effective than Poison Spikes.
  • Poison spikes are good on Cookie spammers because they will eat up a Cookie just to heal five health, therefore making it so they spend three more Cookie.
  • Try using against Auto-Healers. Their script will heal every single poison "tick", which may eventually have them get the Shame! Hat and loss of .
  • Attacking an opponent with a Ruby Weapon will not stack the Poison. You may want Spinning Spikes instead.
  • Don't attack with Plague Mask, because the Poison (as mentioned above) will not stack.

Against

  • Using Anti Venom Gear can negate the Poison effect, making the spike deal only 30 Damage, which is healable by a single Cookie.
    • A Soldier Helmet can reduce the Damage of the Spike and its Poison.
    • Cheese can counter the Posion.
Moomoo.io Power Mill

Power Mill

The Power Mill is the final upgrade of the Windmill path in MooMoo.io. It generates more Gold than Faster Windmills and Windmills.

Technical

  • The Power Mill costs 100 and 50.
  • The Power Mill is available at Age 8 only if the Faster Windmill was selected earlier at Age 5.
  • The limit on Power Mills is seven, the same for normal Windmills and Faster Windmills.
  • The Power Mill has 800 Health.
  • The Power Mill generates 2 per second as long as it is not destroyed.
  • The Power Mill gives you 2 XP every second.
  • Projectiles can not pass over the Faster Windmill, even if a Platform is used.

Strategy

Using

  • Do not allow your enemies to destroy your Windmills.
  • Due to their relatively low health and high Resource amount, faster windmills may be used to grind resources towards Gold, Diamond and Ruby Weapons, though Turrets are a better option for this.
  • They are an expensive investment, so be sure to have a fast Resource gathering Weapon, such as the Great Axe or Stick.
  • Extremely effective for Sandbox.
  • Use as a protective blockade against Players who use ranged weapons or Turrets, as they cannot shoot over a Faster Windmill.
  • After placing all seven Power Mills, a player may choose to kill himself so he may respawn and then choose an Age 8 Weapon. Spawn Pads are helpful for this.

Against

  • Take advantage of the fact that to get these, the Player must sacrifice a good deal of offensive and defensive abilities by passing up Age 8 Weapons and Spikes.
  • Use Mc Grabby to steal gold from players with Power Mills.
  • Destroy the Power Mill to get a decent amount of Wood and Stone, as well as progress towards Ruby Weapons.
  • Destroy enemy player's windmills to make it harder for them to obtain gold.
Moomoo.io Sapling

Sapling

The Sapling is a Structure in MooMoo.io.

Technical

  • The Sapling costs 150.
  • The maximum amount you can place is two.
  • When struck, the Sapling yields the same amount of wood as if it were a Tree.
  • The Sapling is the largest object you can build.
  • Unlocked at age 5.
  • It gives wood when hit. The amount depends on the weapon you hit it with.
  • It is unbreakable.
  • It is slightly smaller than a normal tree.

Strategy

Using

  • Saplings are very useful in the Desert Biome, as there are no naturally occurring trees there.
    • This means you won't have to travel to find wood, thus negating the only disadvantage of dwelling in the desert biome.
      • This makes base-building strategies and bows a lot more effective.
  • Try to place the Sapling in a place where you can hit it and some other Natural Structures as well, like in between a Stone Mine and a Cactus.
  • Be careful about where you place it because if you mess up you can't remove it unless you leave the game.
  • You can place two saplings on either side of the River at the bottom, so mobs and players that float downstream will be stuck. Combined with the Turret, and you have an added Gold farm. Be careful though, as players may come along and destroy the Turrets.
    • To make destroying of the turrets harder, place spikes or walls around them.
  • Use the Axe path or Stick, as you can gather more resources.
  • It may be useful to get your teammates to place Saplings as some unbreakable barriers for a base.

Against

  • Use opponents' Saplings the same way they would use them.
Moomoo.io Spawn Pad

Spawn Pad

The Spawn Pad is a Structure in MooMoo.io that allows Players to respawn in the pad's location upon death. Doing so, however, will make the pad disappear, thereby forcing you to place a new one.

Technical

  • Spawn Pads are available at Age 9.
  • Spawn Pads cost 100 and 100.
  • Spawn Pads have 400 HP.
  • Each player can only place down one Spawn Pad (except in Sandbox, where you can place an infinite amount).
  • If a Player places a spawn pad, the next time he dies he will respawn where he placed the Spawn Pad. Spawn Pads disappear after the Player who placed it dies so it is for one use only.
  • Spawn Pads are not solid and may be walked over without any trouble.
  • If a Spawn Pad is placed outside the world, the Player who placed it will respawn inside the world next to where the Spawn Pad was after he dies.
  • The Spawn Pad is an alternative to the Musket, Poison Spikes, Spinning Spikes, and the Repeater Crossbow.

Strategy

Using

  • Placing the Spawn Pad inside your base is an extremely common and effective strategy, as it prevents you from having to make the long walk back to your base after you die. Be careful, though, because enemies can destroy your Spawn Pad or place Spikes around it. Also, getting back to the Age needed to place in another Spawn Pad after death is a long process.
  • Use Spawn Pads to acquire multiple items by first placing a Spawn Pad, killing yourself, then leveling up again and choosing different items every time you die.
  • Very effective, especially in Sandbox mode. When someone is attacking you, just place it down, so if they kill you, you can attack them again. That's if you have enough Windmills, of course.
  • Try placing somewhere near a good farming area.
  • Try getting a good farming tool, (Stick is an ideal choice), then getting the Crossbow (if your Primary Weapon does not upgrade) to place the Spawn Pad. Then, put down everything you can, and kill yourself. When you spawn again, you will have a lot of Structures to break for Resources. This is especially useful for a slow-farming Primary Weapon like the Polearm.
  • Don't use in combat. It does not do anything for the fight, other than to prevent the opponent from placing down something temporarily in that spot.
  • Make sure it doesn't get destroyed! If it gets destroyed, you won't spawn where it was.
  • Don't place your Spawn Pad near an enemy's base. They will want to destroy it, as it yields a high amount of Resources. And even if they don't destroy it, you'll put yourself at risk of being killed when you spawn again near an enemy base.

Against

  • These yield a tremendous amount of Resources, so destroying these is an alternative to Turret farming, especially in Sandbox.
  • When destroying a base that has a Spawn Pad, you can abstain from destroying it so that you can kill the person when he respawns on it.
    • Some people frown upon this, as it is spawnkilling.
  • Place spikes around the Spawn Pad, so that as soon as the Player spawns, they die.
  • Place Turrets around it so as soon as the Player spawns, they are attacked. However, this can be looked at as spawn killing (your choice).
Moomoo.io Spikes

Spikes

The Spikes are a Structure in MooMoo.io.

Technical

  • Spikes are items that you start with in your inventory, along with the Tool Hammer, Apple, Wood Wall, and Windmill.
  • Spikes deal 25 damage points to any enemy that touches them.
  • Spikes cost 20 and 5.
  • Spikes have 375 health points.
  • You can place a maximum of 15 Spikes.

Strategy

Using

  • Line the inside of your Base with Spikes, to kill players who try to boost through the walls.
  • Use Spikes to help block important areas of your base.
  • Use Spikes and Boost Pads to make traps that automatically kill players and animals.
  • Trap a player or animal with a Pit Trap, then place a Spike right next to him to kill them! This trick also can insta-kill an Auto-healer!
  • When running from players who are faster than you, quickly place Spikes in their path to obstruct them.
  • Place Spikes on both sides at the end of the River and use a Flipper Hat around the area and patrol with a Katana for free kills. Animals also crowd around this area after some time and might stumble into the Spikes once in a while, giving you extra kills and Resources.
  • If someone Boost Pads at you, quickly place a Spike down as an easy counter.
  • When building a base, you can alternate between Spike and Wall to save resources and structure limits while also creating a deadly defense.
  • You can scare away animals by making them run into your Spikes.
  • If you are fast with Booster Hat and Monkey Tail, you can run around a player and put Spikes around him. If you place one correctly, the player will keep getting hit by the Spikes and die. However, this works better with Greater Spikes or Spinning Spikes.
  • When running from a Player who is a higher Age than you, place spikes in their way to deter them. If you have some food, you might even be able to surround them with Spikes, akin to the MooTuber Corrupt X's “Circle of Death” technique. This can also mean the difference between life and death when you are an Age 1 and someone decides to "spawn kill" you!

Against

  • Try not to get trapped by Spikes, as you might ricochet around and die.
  • Spikes can be effectively destroyed by the Katana and Great Hammer.
    • Tank Gear destroys them faster, but lowers your movement speed, so keep your shop open to quickly switch.
Moomoo.io Spinning Spikes

Spinning Spikes

The Spinning Spikes are one of the two final upgrades on the Spike path, the other being Poison Spikes.

Technical

  • Spinning Spikes are unlocked at Age 9, only if Greater Spikes were chosen earlier at Age 5.
  • Spinning Spikes deal 45 damage to the enemy Player or Mob that touches it.
  • Spinning Spikes cost 30 and 25 each.
  • The limit on Spinning Spikes is 15.
  • Enemies who touch Spinning Spikes are repelled backward.

Strategy

Using

  • Use Spinning Spikes the same way you would use normal Spikes, only to greater effect.
  • Keep in mind that Spinning Spikes cost more Resources than Spikes or Greater Spikes so you will need more Resources depending on how many you place.
  • Trap a Bull or other Hostile Mob using a Pit Trap, then place a Spinning Spike next to it to kill it fast, or use one to make a dam in the River and trap it like that, and it will perish without you having to lift a finger.
  • You can do an instakill by equipping Bull Helmet quickly placing the Spinning Spike, after that hit your enemy with a weapon that does 55 damage or more.
  • If you wish to run away from an opponent, try placing a Spinning Spike when they are near. The high damage will help scare them off.

Against

  • Avoid being trapped in a cage of Spinning Spikes. This will lead to you ricocheting around and dying quickly.
  • The Soldier Helmet can greatly reduce the damage Spinning Spikes do to you.
  • Place down a Blocker so your opponent can't use them.
Moomoo.io Stone Wall

Stone Wall

The Stone Wall is an upgrade of the Wood Wall in MooMoo.io.

Technical

  • The Stone Wall is available at Age 3 as an alternative to the Cookie.
  • Stone Walls have 900 health points, making it roughly 3 times more durable than a Wood Wall.
  • The Stone Wall costs 25.
  • The limit of Stone Walls a Player can place is 30.
  • Players and Mobs cannot move through the Stone Wall, nor can arrows or bullets.
  • Arrows and Musket balls have no effect on Stone Walls.
  • Turrets and Players on Platforms can still shoot over these.

Strategy

Using

  • Use Stone Walls to build superior Bases and to protect Windmills.
  • Be aware that obtaining the Stone Walls will mean sacrificing the Cookie, decreasing your offensive abilities. However, you can still choose the Cheese to become more powerful combat-wise.
  • All Ranged Weapons can break Wood Walls, but if you upgrade to Stone Wall, they can not.
  • You can use this to block MOOFIE, as he cannot destroy it.

Against

  • Take advantage of the bypassing of the Cookie; try to engage in long fights to gradually wear down your opponent.
  • Great Hammer can effectively destroy Stone Walls.
    • The Katana, though it cannot match the Great Hammer's structural DPS, can hit multiple Stone Walls at a time, which can prove more effective for a larger Base.
Moomoo.io Teleporter

Teleporter

The Teleporter is a Structure in MooMoo.io.

Technical

  • The teleporter costs 60 and 60.
  • There is a limit of two Teleporters per Player.
  • Upon making contact with a Teleporter, any Mobs or Player will be instantly teleported to a random location.
  • Teleporters will remain upright until they are destroyed.
  • Teleporters have 200 health.
  • Teleporters can be acquired at Age 7 as an alternative to the Cheese, Castle Wall, Turret, Platform, Healing Pad, or Blocker.

Strategy

Using

  • Place a Teleporter in your base so that in case of an unstoppable raid you can quickly escape without being followed.
  • It is a good idea to have at least one guy with a Teleporter on your team.
  • The Teleporter can be used to jump to any location instantly. Though you are unable to control where you appear, if you are prepared for any situation, you can still get the jump on random opponents using teleportation. This can be particularly useful in Sandbox Mode, where there are no build limits.
    • Always equip EMP helmet before doing this, so you don't teleport into a place with a ton of turrets and instantly die.
    • Be aware though, you may accidentally teleport into a Spike and die, the risk of which is exponentially increased in Sandbox Mode.
    • Also, press 'C' before teleporting so you can see where you left it on the map.
  • Place a Teleporter to troll people who attack you.
  • You can also use it on animals if they’re bothering you.
  • Place it if someone tries to place a Pit Trap and Spike by you, as you could easily escape without much trouble.
  • Good for farming higher tiers for many Weapons, like Turrets. Teleporters have low health and yield a good amount of resource. You can one shot it if you are using Great Hammer and Tank Gear.
  • Pair with Assassin Gear, so when people walk by you can place the Teleporter quickly for some quality trolling.
  • Good for getting rid of pesky Mobs like MOOSTAFA or MOOFIE.
  • If a Player uses Pit Traps and the Circle of Death, place a Teleporter and step on it to escape almost certain death.
  • If you are threatened by a Player using Boost Pads, use the Teleporter in front of them for either to make them go in it, or for you to go in it as an escape from tough Players such as auto healers, the 4 Spikes all around you hack, or other types of hackers.

Against

  • Be wary of people who have the Teleporter. Try to get close and suddenly retreat to bait out their Teleporters. Then, you can attack them without trouble.
  • Ranged Weapons avoid getting close to the opponent, allowing you to stay away from teleporting range.
  • Put down a Blocker to stop people from being able to teleport you away.
  • A Pit Trap also works when they are about to put it down.
Moomoo.io Turret

Turret

The Turret is a defensive Structure that can be obtained at Age 7. It is the only structure in the game with its own Artificial Intelligence, and it automatically fires Cannonballs at enemies.

Technical

  • The Turret is available at age 7 as an alternative to the Cheese, Platform, Castle Wall, Healing Pad, Power Mill, and Blocker.
  • Turret Projectiles deal 25 damage.
  • Turret Projectiles can move over all Structures except for Windmills, Trees, Bushes, Saplings, Cacti, and other turrets.
  • The Turret fires Projectiles once every 2.2 seconds.
  • The Turret costs 200 and 150 per unit.
  • A maximum of two Turrets can be placed per player.
  • Turrets have 800 Health Points.
  • The Turret remains stationary until an aggressive Mob or enemy Player comes within range, it then instantly rotates so that the barrel is aimed at its target, and fires a single bullet. It then waits until it is ready to fire another bullet, and repeats the process.
    • The Turret will not fire at the Player who placed it or his teammates. It also will not directly fire at Players wearing the Emp Helmet, though Projectiles fired from the Turret may still damage the enemy Player if there is a viable target behind him.

Strategy

Using

  • Place Turrets inside your base to help defend it.
  • Place Turrets outside an enemy base to help wear their Food supply down.
  • Trap enemies in a Pit Trap, then surround them with Spikes and place both your Turrets within range of their target. While doing this, make sure to repeatedly hit the enemy with your Primary Weapon with the Bull Helmet on as it greatly increases their chances of dying. This tactic is called 'The Circle of Death' made by the famous MooTuber Corrupt X.
  • Break Turrets to quickly acquire Gold/Diamond/Ruby Weapons instead of farming Resources.
  • Effective against Assassin Gear, as Turrets can detect users of it even when they are invisible.
  • If you have a teammate, you can put 4 Turrets down when a Player is trapped to kill them easily.

Against

  • Use the Emp Helmet to prevent a Turret from targeting you.
  • Use the Wooden Shield to protect yourself from the Cannonballs.
    • Putting down a Windmill or a Turret of your own stops the Turret from hitting you, as it can't fire over them.
  • Due to the Turret's slow reload, you can equip a speedy Weapon like Daggers or Mc Grabby and dodge projectiles with relative ease.
    • Circle around the Turret. It won't be able to hit you if you keep moving.
  • In combat, destroy your opponent's Turrets first, as they will prove to be annoying and can deplete your Food supply. It is also good to break them, as they yield a large amount of Wood and Stone.
  • Equip Soldier Helmet. This will make it so that Turrets can only 6-shot you, rather than the usual 4-shot.
  • Due to the Turret’s slow fire rate you can dodge a Cannonball by quickly moving out of the way.
  • Use the Tank Gear to quickly destroy your opponent's Turret(s).
Moomoo.io Windmill

Windmill

The Windmill is a Structure that gives Gold to the Player that builds them.

Technical

  • The Windmill produces one Gold point per second.
    • Since acquiring Gold increases the Player's age, the Windmill also increases the Player's age by one experience point every second.
  • Each Windmill costs 50 and 10.
  • The Windmill has 400 HP.
  • You can place a maximum of 7 windmills.
  • A Windmill is a solid object. Therefore, players and animals cannot move through it, nor can projectiles.
    • Interestingly, projectiles will not pass over the Windmill even if they were fired from on top of a Platform or from a Turret, implying that the Windmill is taller than most other structures.
    • Projectiles cannot damage the Windmill.

Strategy

Using

  • Place Windmills in order to earn Gold.
  • Windmills can also be used to help you level up faster in case you die, so be sure to place all your windmills as soon as possible.
  • Due to the Windmill's value to the player, enemies will always seek to destroy other player's windmills. For this reason, you must protect your windmills. Try building Walls and Spikes around them. You may even wish to leave a Turret or a Pit Trap behind to deter weaker visitors, the more, the better. However, don't go too over-the-top, because you'll reach your limit on structures and you'll have nothing to build. If you sincerely wish to guard it with your life, you can patrol it and use a Repeater Crossbow or something to deter them. Or, if you are truly nomadic, you can put as much protection as you'd like.
    • An alternative method of protecting your Windmills is to scatter them all around the world with no walls to draw attention to them. That way if someone finds one of your windmills, the other six will survive.
      • This works especially well if you have a Hand Axe, Great Axe, or Stick and can quickly recover the required resources to replace your windmills if some are destroyed.
    • After breaking some windmills, try replacing it with your own, as many players won't notice the change in how much gold they're making, or that they can make more windmills, and your windmills will be safe for as long as that base lives.
      • Try to split this up as it may become obvious if they stop making any gold.
      • You should keep an eye out for your gold as they might have noticed and destroyed your windmills.
    • Windmills can be placed outside of the world, this is useful as players cannot access the end of the world, so you need to place walls only on one side, and make the walls as strong as possible. This saves space and Resource.
  • Windmills can also be used as defenses. Due to the fact that arrows and projectiles cannot pass over windmills, they may be lined on the inside of your base's walls in order to "bullet-proof" them, preventing attacks from turrets and players with Platforms who would shoot over your Walls.
    • Be sure to place the Windmills on the inside of your walls. That way enemies will have to destroy your walls in order to get your windmills.
    • It may also help to leave gaps in-between windmills, that way you can place platforms inside your base and shoot over your own walls without the enemy shooting over them at you.
  • During a raid, Windmills can be placed in order to create shelter from turret and arrow fire.

Against

  • Windmills give a large amount of Wood and a bit of Stone, so destroy these as an alternative to Turret Farming.
Moomoo.io Wood Wall

Wood Wall

The Wood Wall is the first Wall obtained in MooMoo.io.

Technical

  • The Wood Wall has 380 Health.
  • The Wood Wall costs 10.
  • You can place a maximum of 30 Wood Walls.
  • The Wood Wall is obtained at Age 1, at the moment the Player joins the game, along with Tool Hammer, Apple, Spikes, and Windmill.
  • The Wood Wall is the weakest wall in MooMoo.io.
  • The Wood Wall is the least expensive wall in the game.
  • These are the only wall that can be destroyed by arrows.

Strategy

Using

  • Use Wood Walls to protect your Windmills.
  • Use Wood Walls to kill Mobs by trapping them with a Pit Trap, placing Wood Walls behind them, and then placing Spikes where it they poke out, so it will quickly kill them.
  • You can quickly place these in the open for cover when you're being fired at.
  • Remember to place them close together when building a Base, as it is possible to squeeze through space logically too tiny for a Player to fit through, rendering the walls useless.
  • Building a Base means you use these, and your inventory tracks how many you place. Monitor your inventory when away from your base to see if you’re being raided.
  • You can use this to easily trap MOOFIE since MOOFIE does no damage to Structures, with the exception of Spikes.

Against

  • These provide a slight obstacle, so try going around them. As an alternative, if you use a Ranged Weapon, you can use a Platform to shoot over these.
    • However, these are weak and can be destroyed easily. Focus more on the inhabitants of the base and other Structures than the Wood Walls.
  • Since they are weak, you can easily destroy this with a Great Hammer in a matter of seconds.

Real Life Equivalent

  • Wood is used in the construction of many modern walls, with wooden beams for support and wooden tiles to keep the elements out and complete the wall.
